太极拳循经周身的春风

       太极拳需要每天坚持，最好是在固定的时间，当然如果没条件，可以忙中偷闲，任何时间进行锻炼都可以。按着中医的观点，人的气血活动，与时间有着密切的关系。这个内容就是经络的子午流注概念。中医讲“每日寅时起肺经，卯时流入大肠中。.....”，所以，每天固定的练功，对于气血的调整可以得到持续的作用，相应的效果也最明显。
而每次练习，应在三遍以上，以五、六遍为好。一般循经二十四式太极拳，每遍在5-10分钟之间，大约在15-30分钟。在运动量上对于初学的人，比较适中，既有一定的锻炼效果，又不会感觉累。按着传统的要求，每次练拳要三遍以上，就是说，一遍舒展活动筋骨，二遍调和气血阴阳，三遍体会气脉神韵。而一些老前辈，有每天行拳30遍的习惯。但对于初学者或普通爱好者，每次三遍已经起到锻炼的效果，虽然多练多得，但也不宜过多。而盲目地追求数量，反而会得不偿失，正是“过犹不及”，反受其害。一定要记住，留有余兴，日积月累，才能久久成真。
如果坚持每次三遍，经过三个月左右，一般都会体会到身体筋骨舒展，气血经脉调和，出现周身温热，舒畅的现象。有的人还会感觉这种温热久久不息，身心舒泰。神清气爽，久久回味，不愿从此境中出来。有了这种现象，太极拳就算是初入门径，内练开始起步。
