我从高三毕业就开始学习丹经武学。记得老师刚开始教我的时候说，“想学传统文化，从练武开始。”当时也没有想很多，老师说练功夫，那我就练。学的是金锋抖肘，老师提了两个要求，一、金锋抖肘每天3600次，二、看论坛里面的文章。往后我就每天坚持练金锋抖肘和老师后来陆续教的几个小功夫。
由于我的性格比较胆怯，每次找老师或者问他一些问题，都要提起很大的勇气。老师很照顾我，偶尔会打电话来问我功夫练得怎么样，遇到了问题，给了我很大的鼓励。寒假的时候，再次见到老师，他第一眼看到我就说：“不错，气质发生了变化。”
当时除了练功，最大的乐趣就是看论坛上面的文章。当时喜欢往论坛里面翻，看一些学友有关金锋抖肘的问题、以及看其他学友、文熙老师写的文章。专修功法里面有很多学友讨论关于玉环桩应该怎么练的帖子，看着看着，我心里就产生了对玉环桩的好奇和喜欢。所以在老师给我讲了一些传统的学识，纠正了我功夫里面的一些问题之后，我主动向老师提出我要学玉环桩。通过几年的玉环桩锻炼，我的原本弱不禁风的身体开始发生了变化，性格也从林黛玉式的抑郁，慢慢变得活泼开朗起来。丹经武学的学习，不仅给了我健康，还给我带来了一群志同道合、铁杆义胆的朋友，最重要的是，让我的身心变得平和、快乐，改变了我的人生轨迹。
总结这几年来练玉环桩的经验，主要有以下几点：
一、要明白玉环桩“玉”的内涵

玉有五德：仁、义、智、勇、洁。简单地说练玉环桩，我们要做一个君子，一个好人，用仁、义、智、勇、洁来要求自己，不干坏事，多干好事，把我们的一颗心修的清澈透亮，把我们的身体养的活活泼泼，不受外界的污染，要把自己的身心都修炼成一块美玉。
玉环桩则是一个把自己修炼成一块美玉的切实可行的方法。按照老师的要求、动作的规矩，每天坚持不懈地推，经常长期的锻炼，身体里面的污浊通过汗液排出，身体里面的气血得到锻炼，元气得到补充和壮大，心中、脑袋里藏着的中中不美好，也渐渐地跟着改变。
常常我推玉环桩之后，都会感觉受到温泉的滋养，润润的、暖暖的，四肢变得灵活，脸上光滑很少长痘痘，心里的压力会在无形当中消失，头脑清晰，仿佛这个世界就是一个安静的、祥和的世界，没有那么多烦恼、没有那么多纷争，安然、平和地生活在大地上。清净、纯洁，如玉。
二、功夫要循序渐进，不可强求
我从小身体不好，为了让我的身体能够得到改善，每天都会花很多时间来锻炼身体，但是后来发现，练功不可强求，先从养生开始。
每一个人的身体承受能力和心里承受能力都不一样。李兆生祖师有一首诗说：“练功强身健体，好坏不与人比。自己得慧真能，真道妙传于自己。”人很多时候都有一种攀比心，总是希望自己得到的比别人多一些、好一些。但是真正要比、要战胜的人，始终是人的自己。在练玉环桩的过程中，从动作不熟练，一个一个地慢慢推，不能着急，也不必老是想着要练多长时间、要练得多好。要学会养，累了要学会休息。我曾经有一段时间，推玉环桩使非常大的劲，一定要推够一定的时间，推累了一咬牙硬撑过去。其实玉环桩在古代是女子修身的功夫，女子身弱力小，并没有很大的劲的。练功的时候，最好是刚中带柔、柔中带刚，这样往往更能体会传统武学的魅力。

回望我功夫也练了有几年，一直都没有去找过动作的精准处，把灯打开。反过来一想，其实现在用心去找，也为时不晚。凡事都是从生疏到熟练、然后才到精准的。一个方面，动作已经熟练了，另外一个方面，经过几年的练功，身体已经有了一定程度的恢复，内心也有一定的平静，有耐心去把每个动作做好，而不是急着要去把功夫练完。
